Sanhua Automotive inaugurates new manufacturing facility in Shaoxing

October 19th morning saw a big event that Sanhua New Energy Vehicle (short for NEV) Thermal Management Control Components project held a grand operation launching ceremony at Shaoxing Binhai industrial park. Sanhua Holding Group Chairman Zhang Daocai, management executives?and staff?members attended the activity. Among the attendees, there are also Shaoxing government officials, expert consultants, and media representatives.

Sanhua Holding Group CTO & Sanhua Automotive GM, Stone Shi introduced the key project that Sanhua Automotive aims to build it an advanced intelligent manufacturing park for NEV, mainly producing intelligent control components and modules for NEV air conditioning and thermal management systems. Stone said that after many years’ development, Sanhua Automotive has developed traditional automotive air conditioning control components such as thermal expansion valve, receiver & dryer, thermal bypass valve and control panels, etc. and NEV thermal management components like electronic expansion valve (EXV), electronic coolant pump, electronic oil pump, electronic coolant valve, plate heat exchanger, oil cooler and cooling plate. Among those products, Sanhua EXV has aced for 70% in global market, while the others have ranked on the top globally. Sanhua Automotive has been at the forefront of the innovation development of new eco-friendly refrigerants product and technology worldwide.

An agreement was signed by Stone Shi on behalf of Sanhua, and Guohong Jiang on behalf of Shaoxing Binhai Administration Committee on the project of the vehicle intelligent fluid control facilities industry base, which is a win-win project Sanhua invests 6.8 billion Yuan and Shaoxing Binhai government allocates land 1000 acres.

Chairman Zhang Daocai delivered a speech. He stated that clean and green NEV is the industry future trend. It is one of Sanhua strategic priorities to establish industrial park in Shaoxing. In the future, Sanhua will invest a series of production lines in new energy vehicle components, serving the markets of China, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia. Also the park will become an important manufacturing center and testing center for global NEV thermal management.

This project covers an area of more than 1,000 acres (about 0.667 square kilometer), with a total investment of about 5 billion Yuan, and an annual output value of over 20 billion Yuan. After two-year construction, 140 acres of the first phase have been completed with an annual production capacity of 11.5 million sets and annual output value of over 2 billion Yuan. The main projects include Volkswagen MEB cooling pate, receiver & dryer and oil cooler etc.
